On a cold dark day in London, a friend slipped me this little newspaper cutting on the way to work. It told me nothing I didn’t already know, but still somehow felt like news to me. Following this advice, for me, meant moving to China. And that is exactly what I did.
Now I’m living in Xiamen, a beautiful island city on the South East coast of China, enjoying an abundant supply of sunshine and adventure. This country is simply fascinating and I don’t think I will ever tire of its contradictory ways.
This blog is a small collection of my reflections on life in China and the amazing array of people I have met here.
